Thank you, St. Mark!
Note from Fr. Emmanuel Mezza:
“It was my pleasure to be at your parish and to serve the Catholics there.
Furthermore, thank you for the very warm reception I received at your parish during my MCP visit on August 7-10. I felt blessed to be in your parish and to enjoy all the wonderful preparations you made for my appeal… All of these show a high degree of your being a Missionary and loving mission work. Frankly speaking, it presents a sincere, generous, and hospitable heart you have for us missionaries; God bless you.
Furthermore, I was so grateful to the Catholics of your parish who devoted themselves to participating vibrantly in my appeal; kindly present my deepest gratitude to them. This is absolutely a gesture of love and gratitude to me, and the Archdiocese of Mbeya in general…
We promise to pray for your success in the ministry of serving God and neighbor.
Thank you once again and have a blessed day.
Shalom,
Fr. Emmanuel”
This second collection will support the annual Mission Cooperative Plan Appeal for our diocese. Our Parish mission organization is the Archdiocese of Mbeya. This appeal helps our brothers and sisters who do not have access to basic pastoral services that support and grow their faith, like Mass, the sacraments, religious education as well as basic need – like clean water, food, shelter and healthcare. Please go to https://arlingtonmissions.org/archdiocese-of-mbeya/ or read the flyer below to find out more about their ministry. If you would like to donate to their efforts click the bottom of the page. Through your support, the MCP mission appeal helps these mission organizations form vibrant faith communities and strengthens the global Church. You gifts and prayers will be a blessing to families who benefit from this loving outreach in mission countries.
